Internet UFO Group - Sightings

Internet UFO Group - Sightings

Every year many people report seeing aerial objects that they cannot identify and which seem to defy explanation. The vast majority of these sightings are simply misidentifications of naturally occuring phenomena or man-made objects. Occasionally, however, witnesses describe viewing objects that are quite unusual and which can not be easily dismissed. Some of these objects reported by witnesses appear to be craft of some sort, but they do not fit any known current aircraft design and display spectacular flight characteristics that are seemingly beyond the capabilities of contemporary aero-space technology. These objects come in several different forms, from Kenneth Arnold's 1947 report that heralded the age of the "Flying Saucer" to the strange triangular craft reported by many people across the globe in recent years, with all of the assorted other shapes described by witnesses: disc, cigar, spherical, amorphous, etc, etc.

The purpose of this page is not to advance any theories as to the nature of UFOs. It is intended to provide information as to where individuals may report UFO sightings and to give accounts of UFO sightings. Whatever UFOs may or may not be, it is essential that data be collected before any reasonable explanation of the phenomenon be advanced.
